Ghost programs and the metaphysical issue: Part 21

'Paranormal Lockdown'

I viewed their 2-hour Halloween special last Monday... an investigation of the "Black Monk House" in Yorkshire, England. Paranormal Lockdown, which first aired in the Spring, is conducted in the investigation style. I wasn't familiar with it since I don't get the Destination America network. Discovery Communications, the parent company, has so many of these channels and programs under it's wing that I'll pass on sorting it all out... but this was aired on The Learning Channel.

Paranormal Lockdown features Katrina Weidman, formerly of 'Paranormal State'.. which was a real pioneer of these programs. Amy Bruni, formerly of 'Ghost Hunters', is now featured on a program called 'Kindred Spirits'. It's nice to see them continuing on with these investigations and studies.

The current "Ghost Nights"... as I've come to call them:

Wednesday (Syfy channel)
Paranormal Witness
Ghost Hunters (11th and final season)

Friday (The Learning Channel)
A Haunting
Kindred Spirits (new)

Saturday (The Travel Channel)
Ghost Adventures
The Dead Files

I know the Destination America network has some of these programs, but I just don't get that channel. 'A Haunting' one the one which really kick-started this whole thing. Actually it was those two pilot episodes back in 2005, which inspired the two movies of the same name ('The Haunting in Connecticut' and 'Ghosts of Georgia') and soon a third ('The Haunting in New York').
