Insübria, as we all should know, is the name for Western Lombardy. It's named after the Celtic tribe, the Insubres, who occupied that region in pre-Roman times. In a perfect world, Insübria would be a state of Padania. Western Lombardy (including Milan, and Ticino, Switzerland) have a different native dialect than eastern Lombardy, although they both speak the Lombard language as their native tongue.
