we too become hooded in our rites.
Grieving for Her lost lover, the Goddess
descends into the Realm of Shadows, seeking
Him.
Our God Kern, is killed in another
hunting accident, and Lupercus again
takes rule of the Waning Year.
We take this time to celebrate, feasting
upon the bounty of the harvest.
We count our blessings and prepare for
the approaching Winter.

For some reason during the last couple of days, I was trying to figure out what film I saw one late night back quite a few years ago when I had all of the cable movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Encore, etc). I fell asleep in it, but it stared Omar Sharif and possibly Irene Papas. They apparently were a wealthy couple living in possibly the Greek isles. I'm guessing that it was from the late 70s or early 80s. The cinematography was very interesting; the blue water, the sun and shadows. It had the general style of an Italian film.
