The biggest cult that nobody has ever heard of
Sam Fife's "Move of God" reportedly had 44,000 members, mostly from southern California to British Columbia and Alaska in the late 70s.

The Move (Sam Fife)
The Move (also known as The Move of the Spirit or Move of God) is the unofficial name of a non-denominational charismatic Christian group that was started in the 1960s in Florida by Sam Fife, a former Baptist preacher.
In his ministry in the early 1960s, Sam Fife used elements of charismatic ministry, first at his church in New Orleans, then in his prayer group in Miami, Florida. He was a former Baptist preacher and his theology has been related to the Body of Christ movement.
At a time of searching by young people and social disruption, Fife's teachings inspired groups throughout United States, Canada and, later, other countries. Considered by some to be an apostle, under the concept of the Fivefold ministry, Fife attracted a group of ministers who believed his vision of the role of the church in the "end times". In the fall 1971, Fife began to preach what was referred to as the "Wilderness Message."
Within a few years, thousands of his followers had moved to a number of communal farms, mostly in Alaska, Canada, and Colombia. They followed various practices in combining their resources in common. Sam Fife wrote numerous booklets about his beliefs, which were distributed among members of The Move.

Sam Fife was a former Baptist minister who started his ministry in Florida in the early 1960’s. He considered himself an apostle by way of a five-fold ministry concept based on the scripture in Ephesians 4:11 which states: So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers. Sam used very erratic methods in his sermon deliveries, sometimes calm, sometimes angry, raising his voice and screaming, then lowering his voice in these charismatic tactics to keep people rapt into his message.

The behavioral modification tactics of the MK Ultra Project are mirrored in the abuse tactics used on us children in Sam Fife’s cult. Sleep deprivation of us children. Extreme beatings. Demon possession casting out rituals consisting of being screamed at and beaten at the same time. Ice baths that lasted hours. Being forced into cold showers and sometimes beaten naked in the showers. Sexual molestation.
Left in some of our minds is the question of whether this cult and the cult era in general was simply a transition into religious mind control testing. It takes an incredible amount of mind control tactics to convince hundreds of parents to not only allow, but participate in the violent abuse of their own children, more that the average little old southern evangelist preachers should know.
Sam’s recruiters set up what they called, and still call, body houses, which were basically churches being held in people’s homes. They used these body houses for the cult recruitment. They used fear of the end of days as a key component of their recruiting, messages such as the Communists were coming to invade America, using The Cold War as leverage. The messages were coupled with a inferences of love and ego stroking, telling adults who were in the group were chosen by God to live safely in the wilderness communities. It was also a very Zionist based theology hailing the Jews as God’s chosen people. To date the cult is a big believer of the Abrahamic religion.

The Kilchurn Castle – Scotland
Today, Kilchurn Castle is one of the most photographed castles in the world. It was built in the 1400s and has sadly been left to decay since the 1700s. The untouched estate attracts people from all over the world who marvel at its incredible presence despite being neglected for 300 years.
In its time, it housed some of the most influential families and officials when they visited the country. It’s something we can imagine in the next James Bond film!

Allerheiligen Monastery – Germany
This monastery is almost 900 years old! It was built in 1192 inside of the Black Forest of Germany and still stands tall today. Sadly, the church was struck by lightning three times in a row during a particularly powerful storm. It was burnt down and no one chose to rebuild it.
If a church was struck three times, we think it should be left alone! We wonder what happened inside it for someone or something to strike it three times!

A Subway Station – New York, USA
This secret subway station lies under the City Hall in New York City. It was a highly anticipated project due to its ‘prime real estate’ location, and so much effort was put into its initial designs. Perhaps this is why it looks so much nicer than the ones we see today!
Unfortunately, its twists and turns made it unsafe for newer trains to navigate. The station was subsequently closed in 1945 and is left alone today. Occasionally, it is opened for walking tours.

Miranda Castle – Belgium
Miranda Castle was built in 1866, but the designer had died before the castle could be completed. This resulted in a confused next step for the construction workers since no one knew the next stage! Construction halted and the projected was ultimately abandoned.
Aside from being used briefly by the Nazis in WWII, the site has been left forgotten. There are no plans to resurrect the castle for modern use – all proposals have been called too expensive.

'Dark Side of the Ring'
I watched all six episodes of the "Vice" TV channels new series 'Dark Side of the Ring'. One doesn't even have to be a wrestling fan to view this insight into the outlandish world of pro wrestling. It's almost like "theater" for those who just aren't up to dressing up a bit and attending the local ballet, opera, or stage production. Although obviously choreograghed, it's still a very rough business. It appears that anyone can watch the series at the above link without a DirecTV or Dish account.

'Here Comes Mr. Jordan'
A few days ago I watched the charming 1941 fantasy romantic comedy 'Here Comes Mr. Jordan'. It starred Robert Montgomery, Claude Rains, Evelyn Keyes, and James Gleason, who were all very good in it. I thought that the remake in 1978, 'Heaven Can Wait', equaled the original. In fact, it was very similar in it's details; just a rethinking and updating of it. Warren Beatty, James Mason, Julie Christie, and Jack Warden--as the equivalent character rolls as the above--were eerily similar. One slight difference that I noticed was that at the end of 'Heaven Can Wait', Max Corkle had no idea of what had occurred in the Heavenly realm, however in the original.... he did seem to understand.
If you haven't seen these films.. you should. It almost magical when watching an old film like this, and being totally engrossed in the characters, that they've all passed on. For example, James Gleason was born in 1882, and Claude Rains was born in 1889. Of course there are always exceptions, such as 'Gone With The Wind' star Olivia de Havilland... thankfully alive and sharp at 103. I had not realized that Evelyn Keyes was also in 'Gone With The Wind', in the roll of Suellen O'Hara. The original film script was based on Harry Segall's play 'Heaven Can Wait' from 1938.

The hard vacuum of outer space is apparently not made up of atoms, although I'm not certain of this. However, everything on our Earth and sky is made up of atoms (stone, water, air, etc.). Biological cells pertain to living matter only. To put it all into to some kind of scale, there are approximately 37 trillion cells in the human body, each made up of billions of molecules, which are made up of varying numbers of atoms, and the approximate number of atoms in a human body is a number which can only be described or written as a 7 with 27 zeros behind it.
I suspect that it's entirely possible that our entire universe is part of an incomprehensibly larger scale, and the sub-atomic level is made up of incomprehensibly smaller scale. Therefore intelligent beings somewhere within the infinitely smaller scale; one second to us could be a billion years to them; or a billion years to us could be one second to beings somewhere within the infinitely larger scale.

I recall when I was about 13, I was on a ship on Lake Tahoe. I threw an ice cube into the lake, and my uncle told me that it wasn't good to do that. What he really meant is that it wasn't good for me to even think about throwing anything into a body of water... especially that one. It's hard to believe that so many people worldwide would actually throw garbage into the ocean! The plastic degrades into smaller and smaller pieces, and it gets eaten by fish, who may get eaten by larger fish, and the plastic enters our food system... and it just keeps accumulating each year at a massive rate. I read where it could be possible to create huge ocean vessels which could function like moving swimming pool filters. Maybe the UN could actually make itself useful and serve as a vanguard with this huge problem.

The Temple of the Vampire was founded as a new religious organization in 1989 to explore the positive aspects of the Vampire mythos. The Temple states that it "embraces only those aspects of the Vampire mythos that include a love and respect for all life, physical immortality, individual elegance, proven wisdom, civilized behavior, worldly success, and personal happiness."
The organization's goal is "empowering individuals to achieve independent control over their lives through wealth, health, personal power, and unlimited life extension." It was registered as a religion within the United States in order to offer "legal protection of religion under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.”

Temple of the Vampire seems to have something of a large internet presence. I can understand the Goth thing a bit... that there is beauty in dark themes. For example, the night is beautiful, a graveyard on a late afternoon amid dark cloud cover can be beautiful. It just seems to me that the Vampire movement has some logical contradictions. For example, in the above lecture, she talks about using people for their energy--feeding off of them--then she talks about their "rights." The right to be who they are, Constitutional rights, etc. So, what gives with that?
Unlike Luciferianism, which has a very practical application; Satanism, which could be interpreted as a worship of nature or the self; or "witchcraft"/neopaganism, which is often about energy, healing, and ritual.... Vampirism seems to clearly be about "feeding off of others" for personal gain. Do I have that wrong? The above lecture seemed to be crystal clear about that. It does not appear that she is a person on the fringe of Vampirism giving everyone a bad name; she is the standard.
It's more like fetishism and fantasy role-playing. Unlike even dark occultists, who appear serious about what they believe, Vampires who are interviewed have a certain neurotic behavior as if "acting"... and sometimes as if their play-acting a certain parody of themselves as "folkloric vampires"... and almost to the point where they seem to look as though they want to make you laugh!
I do think there are types of metaphysical vampire beings in nature, but that's a different thing. I don't think that there was any ancient vampire or werewolf cults. I do think that there were warrior traditions where, prior to battle, men would try to bring the beast within them... outward. Lastly, Michelle Belanger compared "folkloric vampires" to "folkloric witches".... as if to imply that they're both sort've in the same boat... slandered. The difference is that there were magickal traditions in the ancient world, and they either carried on into the present, or more likely were revived as they were already a part of our ancestral memory; however, there never were "human vampires" or "vampire cults"... until more recent times.
There seem to be real metaphysical vampires, which are apparently very dangerous. If you encounter anything metaphysical which is unrecognizable, it's best to avoid it. It's also probably best not to "thrill seek" them out... as dark entities have been known to follow those who do on occasion. All we can do is ask for and be worthy of our own protective spirits.

The Grange, officially named The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, is a fraternal organization in the United States that encourages families to band together to promote the economic and political well-being of the community and agriculture. The Grange, founded after the Civil War in 1867, is the oldest American agricultural advocacy group with a national scope. The Grange actively lobbied state legislatures and Congress for political goals, such as the Granger Laws to lower rates charged by railroads, and rural free mail delivery by the Post Office.
In 2005, the Grange had a membership of 160,000, with organizations in 2,100 communities in 36 states. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C., in a building built by the organization in 1960. Many rural communities in the United States still have a Grange Hall and local Granges still serve as a center of rural life for many farming communities.
