Tana's Day 2019 - Part V

Monte Fitz Roy

"The Matterhorn of South America"

The new Windows sign-in image is one of Monte Fitz Roy in Patagonia, although I usually can't find the actual image that they use. The mountain is 11,171 feet elevation, and is the subject of so many wonderful angles from different spots. It's almost like the Matterhorn of the cone of South America, as it looks so Alpine.

Our True Purpose

According to alternative researcher John Lear, the following is a definition of how we're supposed to live our life here on earth, in a reincarnation/soul journey/metaphysical sort've way....

Live your life with integrity---without envy, hate, or fear---and express your love to your family each and every day.

I love the quote, but harsh evolutionary struggle has to be factored in as well I believe.

The beautiful Eliza Dushku

I just saw her in the first 'Wrong Turn' horror film. It was a fresh overt take on a typical horror flick theme of a group of people stranded deep in the woods... in "the hills of West Virginia." They are attacked by a group of inbred savage cannibals who look like big apes! She looks more impressive on a moving image aka "in person"... more than in a photograph.

Know Thyself

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

'All that is gold does not glitter'

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes, a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

-- J. R. R. Tolkien

JILL TRACY: Sonic Séance in the Redwoods (LIVE)

Jill Tracy

Join Jill Tracy at a grand piano surrounded by century-old redwood trees for a very special sonic séance, on the night of a New Moon deep within the Redwood Grove at San Francisco's Botanical Gardens. This music was created spontaneously in front of the crowd, creating an utterly singular experience— majestic and powerful, revealing the hidden music of the woods.

This performance was part of NightGarden 2017 in Golden Gate Park.
