So who made up this revolutionary coalition? They were a small segment of dissidents from all of the victimized groups, including: Templars, Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Luciferians, Hermeticists, and Alchemists who were driven underground…. persecuted Jews, Catholics who were thrown under the carriage due to politics or some other alternate reason, and even a few forcefully converted crypto-Muslims…. Protestants in hiding, such as Cathars, Waldensians, Spiritual Franciscans, Hussites, and Beguines…. Druids, Odinists, Witches, and many other pagan polytheists living in the shadows…. overthrown Monarchs, Gnostic heretics, and miscellaneous others who were destroyed by the ruling order for reasons that were political and economic, or those who ended up on the wrong side of personal vendettas from the ruling class…. or simply the kith and kin of innocent people who were tortured and murdered!
All of these dissidents made up a relatively small number of people who began to network together. They wouldn’t represent the typical person from their own communities, but as individuals they were traumatized, angry, and damaged. Everything above is based on fact, and now for the speculation. Knowing now the clear pattern of their behavior over time, I believe there must have been one night that the general leadership of this revolutionary coalition were all in one place at one time to be counted, to lay out their goals, and to permanently cement their new accord. The one conclave where they could commence their movement; where they swore revenge, and vowed to someday destroy the Church forever.
Over the coming centuries, this hidden hand would operate via proxy under the guise of many revolutionary movements where only they would be the victors. Each step seemingly unconnected to the next, and the next, and the next. History has known them as Jacobins, Illuminati, British-Israel World Federation, Hellfire Club, League of the Just, Royal Institute of International Affairs, Council on Foreign Relations, Communism, Monopoly Capitalism, war profiteers, frackers, Big Pharma, Secret Intelligence Service (compartmentalized black operations cells), Black Rock, Zionism, Globalism, Process Church, Bohemian Club, Skull and Bones, Société Générale de Belgique, Fabian Socialism, Business Roundtable, Carlyle Group, Project for the New American Century, International Bank of Settlements, Frankfurt School, Hand of Death, Hollywood, Lucis Trust, Rockefeller Foundation, Neo-Conservatives, Neo-Liberals, Silicon Valley, Bohemian Club, Wall Street, Central Intelligence Agency (compartmentalized black operations cells), Club of Rome, World Economic Forum, United Nations, and more than could ever be listed here.
They can destroy any opposing movement through infiltration and slander, they can create artificial revolutions through controlled opposition, create wars and arm both sides, make the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent, conduct weather wars, and a hundred other vicious tactics to permanently run roughshod over society. They’ve either taken over from the inside or created alliances with their former enemies. They’re white leather loafers on a marble floor in an ivory tower on Wall Street manipulating a few blips on a computer screen to steal the wealth from a Midwest farmer, while at the same time they’re black boots on a concrete street a few miles away setting a hard working immigrant's business on fire. They’re more than evil; there may not be an appropriate word for them in the English language.
So lets just speculate that at midnight, on Saturday, May 1, 1509, this revolutionary coalition secretly met in a remote wooded location in the Sonian Forrest south of Brussels, then the capitol of a small regional state within the Holy Roman Empire, to finally set their plans in stone. The abused will become the abuser, and much worse than that abuser. Saturday literally means “Saturn’s Day.” “May 1” is their admitted date for “Revolution.” I’m aware that May 1st had a different pagan spiritual meaning, but they've co-opted it like so many other things. May 1, 1509 = 5-1-1509 = 5+1. 1+5, and 9 = 669 = 666, the numerical dimensions of Saturn’s north pole. Of course, this is probably not the date or the place, but I’m sure that there is some deep occult tie-in to whatever name, date, place, and time that it actually was. Perhaps July 15, 1506, Midsummer, such as with the ‘Cremation of Care” ritual at Bohemian Grove. I’m 99% certain that there was a DATE involved. Even if somehow there wasn't a definitive date, then they must have later installed one! It's probably some date that they've symbolically foisted upon us as part of their incessant fetish ever since. The founding of the Illuminati was in 1776 (I guess putting the exact date on the back of the dollar bill would have been too overt even for them), and that date is the exoteric, while this unknown earlier starting date is the esoteric.
All of this secret history is recorded and is a major fetish for them, that I suppose they will come out in the open with at some future point. For example, when they created the Project for the New American Century. They absolutely did not need to create that group, and with a website, with plans no less! They love to fetishize their actions. They could have created a secret temporary group with all of the same individuals to meet their goal, and it would have been much more practical; but the fetish, always the fetish! They just love to create yet another secret group! The Trilateral Commission was created by longtime Democrat hander Zbigniew Brzezinski, and has NO practical function! They merely did it for the fetish of it! So for whatever it’s worth, I’m sure they had a specific date and time for their first ritual. I’ll just speculate that it may have been called ‘Ritus Sulphurium’ (The Rite of Sulphur), as they've been such a corrosive force in the world.
To jump ahead to clarify one point, there are different types of Satanists today; from a simple harmless theology, to something somewhat like benevolent Paganism, to ritual mass murderers. One size doesn’t fit all. Anton Levey was either a legitimate philosopher so to speak, and simply tried to make money to fund his organization, or he was a fraud who was in it for the money, or he was an agent of the higher ups who were trying to create like a "minor league Satanism" for maybe recruitment or some other purpose. I would guess the latter. I don't know, but Leveyan Satanism is not big league Satanism. It’s like grammar school Satanism. Maybe they thought they need that. Real Satanism is the “Cult of Saturn,” which is massive. If a person just doesn’t care about anything, has no principles, is of average intelligence, and wants to be successful… just seek them out and join! I don’t suggest it, if for no other reason than they’re dishonest!
How can you follow their motto, “Do what thou wilt,” when you’re completely controlled by highly advanced mechanisms that plug you into a technocratic system? It’s impossible, so "do what thou wilt" isn't worth a damn. I’ve looked closely at their plans, and it’s nothing short of suffocating. According to the Bible, Satan is a liar, and they’ve adopted that personality! It doesn’t matter what you believe; that’s their system! Personally, I like the old Saturnian tradition, as long as it doesn't have anything to do with men in high places or the projected “bad guy from the Bible.” One size doesn't fit all. The more malevolent type, as stated previously, got started in the Middle Ages; likely initially when Christian heretics were caught numerous times in various places, having orgies with animals, and conducting rituals involving numerous bodily fluids that I won’t name. The Church felt that it had to respond to this, and perhaps also used it as a pretext to establish a stronger socio-religious-political bond, so they created the "boogey man" from the Bible... Satan! It was all blamed on "Satanism," and that was a legitimately false "Satanic panic."
The genuine ancient Saturnian traditions had long disappeared by that time, only surviving in co-opted symbolism within Catholicism, Islam, and Judaism. Saturn was once a light-purple shining northern star in what was once our binary solar system, during what the ancients referred to as “The Golden Age.” In this age, thousands of years ago, there existed a rivalry between the solar cults and the Saturn cults. As Saturn slowly fizzled out and became a dwarf star, apparently a different process than a supernova which would have killed us all, the Saturn cults faded away. The solar cults took over in a succession of traditions, leading to the Egyptian Sun cult, which became Christianity. There were other Indo-European planetary cults as well; Lunar, Martian, Venusian, and others. Later it became so convoluted that some later religions have symbolism from more than one. For example, Islam has both Saturnian and Venusian symbolism. The lower crescent symbol is actually a Venusian symbol, as it was much more prominent in the sky in past centuries.
As has occurred throughout human history, the new revolutionary coalition adapted the ancient Saturnian tradition as their organizing principle for waging war. However, they predominantly adopted the Biblical version; not the genuine Saturnian tradition! In their self-serving manner, returning to “The Golden Age” simply meant that they would begin their quest to bend the entire world to their will. Now it is true that the ancient Saturnian Priesthood, such as existed in Phoenicia-Canaan, did engage in human sacrifices… including sacrificing children. However, the early Christians did the very same thing, and it continued right through the Middle Ages! The Eucharist wasn’t always merely wine and crackers. Also, every major church and cathedral constructed during the Middle Ages has a dark secret; a small child was kidnapped and cemented alive in one of the front pillars.
So when a Christian zealot complains about Halloween, and how the Druids conducted human sacrifices; or about Easter, and how the Canaanites sacrificed people; or even Christmas, and perhaps how the ancient Teutons held brutal rites… they did the same. The various inquisitions shouldn’t be any surprise. The Medieval Church caused, by their own actions over a long period of time, a reaction; an “underground Satanic church” that has now existed for centuries. This oppression, despotism, torture, and murder caused their victims so much trauma, that a small number of very angry people got together and created SATANISM!! Now it always has, and it always will, be conflated with the ancient Saturnian Priesthood. Of course, they’ve also plagiarized from the ancient European pagan traditions, such as with the seasonal Sabbats. However, the new Satanism is still a perversion of them; a system founded and designed specifically for revenge. A terrifying legacy from damaged people of centuries past; a program intended to poison everything they touch.
During the second half of the Middle Ages, long after the Dark Ages supposedly were to have ended, something sinister came across the land. Political and religious upheaval, the inquisitions, witch hunts, the Burning Times. In March of 1314, as the Grand Master of the Knights Templar was literally burning to death, he was said to have cursed the Monarchy and Church. Jacques de Molay swore vengeance! Somehow after the Templars were finished with their business in Jerusalem, they returned, massively expanded their membership, and became an incredible maritime/business/banking empire; a veritable breakaway international state! Many powerful people, including the King himself, were soon up to their eyeballs in debt to them. The Church, in particular it's own banking empire, apparently felt threatened. It's as though they found some type of lost secrets from the ancient world during their travels in the near east. The secrets of money?
de Molay swearing vengeance
Some of the revolutionary coalition mentioned throughout this whole piece were probably guilty of a whole lot of things! There are always two sides to a story, even though it's not popular today to say so. For example, written history charges the pagan Vikings with engaging in endless violent raids on Christian monasteries, forgetting that the Christians had first deliberately blocked most of their trade routes. Lets try to set aside most of the speculation of who may have been justified in their actions, or not, for now. This story is to answer the question of why the world is the way that it is today. This is the ultimate tale of the abused becoming the abuser. This is about how a small coalition of thoroughly defeated groups of people coalesced to conquer the world. There have always been those who will say that it's this group or that group; saying that it's "them" or it all goes back to "this group." Often, over the course of history, most of these are just small temporary coteries designed to fulfill one particular goal, and then disbanded. However, in the bigger picture, it was only a very tiny segment of each victimized concern which participated from the beginning, and form the ruling families of today.
Satanism: From imagination to reality
The brutal oppression, show trials, tortures, and executions of people based on their imaginary allegiance to Satan took place between the years 1450 and 1750. The vast majority of these people had no connection to any sort've pagan tradition at all. Probably exactly ZERO of them were actually "Satanists," at least in the beginning of this. Many of those charged were done so based on economic, political, or some personal reason if truth be known. Up to 50,000 people were executed during this time, and countless others tortured. This is aside from other religious persecutions, such as the Spanish Inquisition (1478-1834) or the destruction of the Cathars and other protestant sects. The emerging revolutionary coalition must have been made up of an almost boundless number of religious, political, or economic concerns.... or even just the families of innocent people who were murdered by the symbiotic state-church structure! It may have been an old lady merely collecting herbs for some type of simple folk medicine!
The high point of the witch trials occurred between 1580 and 1630. The torture was immense! I suppose that I don't really need to delve into all of that, except to ponder that this occurred over fifteen generations! If they had started in 1722, then they would just be ending now. There were private entrepreneurs and opportunists who got into the act. When a government promotes something stupid, there will never be a lack of willing participants! One such group was the Vehmic Court in Westphalia, who hunted down and executed pagans. They could have just operated as paid assassins! They could murder someone and just say that the person was a witch or Devil worshiper, and it would then be okay. Another example, in approximately the year 1473, German Domincan Churchman Heinrich Kramer was appointed as the official inquisitor by the Archbishop of Salzburg. Henricus Inquisitor, as he was known, was responsible for the Tyrol, Salzburg, Bohemia, and Moravia. In other words, he was a paid thug put in charge of stopping the rise of the imaginary Satanic sects in those areas. He was going to "find them" whether they existed or not. He was just one of the many leaders of the inquisition across Europe for centuries! In 1487 he authored 'Malleus Maleficarum' ("Hammer of Witches"), a guide to witchcraft and how to interrogate people in order to get a confession out of them. The methods were so extreme that even some authorities of the day condemned it.
Three centuries of torture
The Spanish Inquisition was part of the larger Catholic Inquisition (or known simply as "The Inquisition"), as was the Roman, Portuguese, and other Inquisitions. These inquisitions very much included Protestant sects! Cathars, Waldensians, Spiritual Franciscans, the Hussites, and the Beguines were terrorized by the inquisitors. Any institution which could be thought of as competition to the Catholic Church, and later other dominant Protestant sects, had the screw put to them. It wasn't just the death toll, 50,000 over three centuries, as there were battles in World War II where 100,000 soldiers died in a single day. It was the aura of fear that existed over that time period, a dark cloud that just wouldn't go away. As is human nature, the fear eventually turns to anger. When the vast majority of history's conquerors finally defeated the targeted population, such as with the Roman Empire, the next step was to allow them to partake in its system and bring them into the fold. These religious zealots did not offer that at all! They just kept putting the screw to them! Even a bully in school, who wants smaller students' lunch money, is at least satiated if they hand it over to him. They're backed into a corner, but they're at least allowed a chance to get out of that corner if they cooperate. However, as stated, there was no end to the violent oppression, and anyone could be a victim if they weren't careful.
From all over the world, they flocked to Spindale, North Carolina, lured by promises of inner peace and eternal life. What many found instead: years of terror — waged in the name of the Lord. The Word of Faith Fellowship denies the allegations.

Late last night I viewed a program on Investigation Discovery channel called 'People Magazine Investigates', an episode from 2019 entitled 'The Word Of Faith Fellowship' about the Word of Faith Fellowship in the mountains of western North Carolina. Apparently the real story behind the group is more disturbing than the below videos from TV news reports reflect. For example, any medical problem was handled by sending the people to a particular quack who permanently damaged the feet and ankles of numerous children. His methods were so barbaric, and to me shows more than anything the madness of the group. Perhaps just as disturbing was the fact that the group has members within the local political, court, and law enforcement systems. This group apparently is part of the larger "Word of Faith movement," of which many Christians are critical of.
'Extreme Paranormal Witness' is just a continuation of 'Paranormal Witness'. The program, which premiered in 2011 on the Syfy channel and has been idle since 2016, apparently was sold by NBCUniversal to Discovery, Inc. It is in season now on Thursday evenings on the Travel Channel.
“Sad Songs (Say So Much)" is the first single from Elton's 1984 album Breaking Hearts. The video was filmed at Rushcutters Bay in Sydney, Australia and directed by Russell Mulcahy with choreography by David Atkins.

'Race with the Devil' - A hidden gem from 1975
Over this past weekend, I took the time to watch the 1975 action-horror film 'Race with the Devil starring Peter Fonda. It was an unexpected treat! It had a certain visceral quality to it. Filmed in rural Texas, the RV/camper themed terrain could remind one of that 70's vacation you had a a kid. There was no attempt to glamorize it, or the characters much. The film starts slow, then gradually the pace starts to increase, until finally it was an all-out war! There was an eerie quality to it, as it depicted a large murderous Satanic cult, with members willing to give their lives in order to strike their targets. It was like 'Easy Rider' meets "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', and perhaps that's what they producers had in mind. About ten years ago there was an attempt to produce a remake, but it fell through. You can't go to authorities because they're members too! That sorta thing. There's a lot of action, but it had a point. Things built up to it.

'From Beyond the Grave' (1974)
I saw this one a short while back. It was pretty eerie, in a different category than 'Race with the Devil' as it was paranormal horror. It was a Hammer film, which always seem to be good. I probably ran into this film on the old Creature Features as a kid and just don't remember it.

Extremely disturbing non-stop campaign of articles about the Asatru Folk Assembly
Mainstream media attacks private non-political group in hit pieces since last summer; almost daily now!
Last year, the AFA opened it's third hof, following those in California and North Carolina. A very sightly but abandoned Lutheran Church in Murdock, Minnesota was leased or purchased by the group. Sounds like great news to me. However, unelected bureaucrats with massive funding have decided that they will not an entirely non-political group to enjoy the fruits of their labor and have labeled them a hate or extremist group based on no evidence whatsoever. Not every person can simply knock on the door of the Sons of Italy, a Native American group, or a Sikh Temple and just join, so why is the AFA any different? To drive home the degree of slander, consider the following quote:
“The bright spot in all of this is having such an obviously violent white supremacist group in town means we have resources available to us we didn’t even know were there in the first place.”
-- Murdock resident involved in blocking the AFA
Where I live, different races and ethnicities have their own churches, clubs, men's groups, women's groups, youth groups, business guilds, professional associations, political and lobbying groups, and even employment agencies and hospitals (yes). This would even include groups of European origin. So why is this any different? It's different... because they decided that it's different, and they have the money and power to start fake Asatru groups, a fake Heathen watchdog group created with it's only purpose to combat any folk group, and a phony author whose entire career is consists of writing books and attacking them. There are three churches within a mile and a half of me which have congregations of one single ethnicity: Burmese, Italian, and Korean. I think I would defend my worst enemy if an arrogant and dictatorial power structure was trying to bully and strip them of having a private heritage association... especially one which was non-political!
Two associations in San Francisco have a condition of membership based initially being of a particular European background AND being a male (other races and ethnicities have mens groups too). One is the Caledonian Club of San Francisco, and the other is an Italian club but I'm just not certain of the name and I don't want to guess... but a woman told me about it once, who had wanted to join it. Okay, why is the Caledonian Club any different than the Asatru Folk Assembly in the minds of those perpetrating this media attack campaign? I already know the answer, but intellectually they must answer that question.. unless they're content to just be common liars.
The AFA has a mere 500 members in the entire country. The Sons of Italy has essentially the exact same condition of membership as does the Asatru Folk Assembly. However, American proponents of the Italian nationalist Forza Nuova and Greek nationalist Golden Dawn have been attacked by elements of these very well-funded unelected bureaucrats, just not nearly to the degree of this. On the contrary, they don't attack many other nationalists endeavors which are much more extreme than those two political parties. In other words, they pick and choose which races and ethnicities to give their approval or to viciously attack when the actions or particulars of the groups are similar... in many cases with the more extreme being those they approve of. This is a really bad situation going into the future. Less than two miles from me is a hospital for people of a particular national background.... c'mon, a hospital!!
This is the biggest challenge facing any European folk traditions. If this socio-political defacto-religion can use big-media just target a private group and make any wild claim they like without any evidence--including implying make-believe connections between them and some violence person or act which they have no connection to whatsoever--what makes them so different than the Christian zealots of the Middle Ages who tortured and murdered so many of our ancestors? Tyrants for 6,000 years, who wanted to target people they didn't like, have always pitifully exclaimed those first deadly words: "Look everyone, we have a s-i-t-u-a-t-i-o-n here".... and used fake informants, witnesses, and would-be victims to get the ball rolling. One of the precious little darlings who "felt threatened" in one of the many hit pieces was very likely a Catholic, the same church who did so much to persecute native spiritual traditions and other Christians all over the world, and even in modern times with the devastation done to Orthodox Christians in places like Croatia in the last century.
More mountain lions are turning up in urban areas around the San Francisco Bay, and researchers are trying to catch and track the animals. With camera traps and tracking collars, they are getting a better understanding of what is now the top predator in the East Bay.
NOTE: Due to a very serious health threat to a close family member, including numerous other related and non-related personal problems, I may not be posting here a lot into the immediate future.
Just a couple of more notes: The quality of text, imagery, and dimensions of this blog has gone downhill in recent months. This is due mainly to changes made to Blogspot. Basically when preparing a posting, what I see is not what I get so to speak. It was that way to an extent even before the most recent changes, and it's difficult and often not possible to straighten out problems in the coding.
I need a period of time to fix my organization and bookmarks, which are out of control. With the above problems, that may take some time. All-in-all, I've run into a perfect storm here.
Gate of All Nations The Gate of All Nations (Old Persian : duvarthim visadahyum) also known as the Gate of Xerxes, is located in the ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis, Iran. The construction of the Stairs of All Nations and the Gate of All Nations was ordered by the Achaemenid king Xerxes I (486-465 BC), the successor of the founder of Persepolis, Darius I the Great.
Building The structure consisted of one large room whose roof was supported by four stone columns with bell-shaped bases. Parallel to the inner walls of this room ran a stone bench, interrupted at the doorways. The outside walls, made of broad mud block, were bedecked with frequent niches. Each of the three walls, on the east, west, and south, had a very large stone doorway. A pair of massive bulls secured the western entrance; two Lamassu in the Assyrian style, albeit, of colossal proportions, stood at the eastern doorway. Engraved above each of the four colossi is a trilingual inscription attesting to Xerxes having built and fulfilled the gate. The doorway on the south, opening toward the Apadana, is the widest of the three. Pivoting devices found on the inner corners of all the doors indicate that they must have had two-leaved doors, which were possibly made of wood and covered with sheets of ornamented metal.

This Siberian bear hunting suit keeps you safe and makes you dangerous Not only does this suit keep you safe, but it makes sure you never have to hug people you don’t like again. It’s believed that this vintage armor wasn’t used to traipse through the Siberian woods in search of a bear, but rather it was worn when a bear hunter was seeding the area for bears so to speak. According to a commenter on the Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation message board: "I suspect it is more likely to be for bear bating than hunting, since I can't imagine anyone could run around the woods in it. It consists of leather pants and jacket (and an iron helmet) studded all over with 1-inch iron nails about 3/4 in. apart. The nails are held in place by a second layer of leather lining the whole thing and quilted into place between the nails." *************************
What is your "Birthcard" ... ? Queen of Hearts (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) The Queen of Hearts is a fictional character from the 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. She is a foul-tempered monarch whom Carroll himself describes as "a blind fury", and who is quick to give death sentences at the slightest offense. One of her most famous lines is the oft-repeated "Off with his/her head!" / "Off with their heads!" The Queen is referred to as a card from a pack of playing cards by Alice, yet somehow she is able to talk and is the ruler of the lands in the story, alongside her husband, the King of Hearts. She is often confused with the Red Queen from the 1871 sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, although the two are very different. 'The Unraveling of a Billionaire' Brad Puet - Grryo.com - April 11, 2013 The Unraveling of a Billionaire by BP and Victoria Let us set the stage. We both had planned a street shoot the other day. The plan was to take a favorite route in the city – Pike Place Market through to Westlake, up and down Pike and Pine St. The light in the beginning of the day was great but by the time we got out to shoot, it had become more overcast. We both didn’t have our Mophie packs and we both started out with less than 100%, with V starting out with a whopping 23%. We monitored the batt levels and did the best we could. V: If you’ve ever gone on an IG walk with me, you know I generally come unprepared with a low battery and decaffeinated. This day was certainly no different. B: By the time V hit under 10% it was time to juice up. Note: If V’s phone didn’t need a charge, our story would’ve never happened, so we decided to hit the Starbucks, power up, and catch up. V: While Brad was off being gentlemanly, purchasing our coffee, I sat at a table next to Bill. He glanced over at me with a warm smile. He complimented me on my chucks and said he wore the same ones when he was a youngster. We laughed about how styles just recycle themselves, but agreed my kicks were classics. I noticed his formal wear and how he seemed out of place in our “Keens and Northface” city, but I appreciated the fact that someone would get dressed in a full suit and go to a local coffee shop to simply work on his computer. B: Before I sat down I saw Bill next to the table that V had been sitting at. He was real focused on his typing, tapping away at the keys, one finger at a time style. He also had a great hat and was dressed up real dapper like. I opened up ProCamera, focused, set exposure and took a couple shots. Figured I had to catch this scene. Thought this would be the end of it, not knowing that the conversation with Bill would give backstory to the photo. Initially V and I chatted it up and Bill paid no mine to us, nor us to him. At one point, he got up and asked us to watch his laptop and flip phone as he needed to go across the street. We did. We continued to chop it up and again paid no mine when he returned. I cracked a joke that I had used his minutes to call Uruguay (chuckle here, chuckle there) but for the most part that was it. Meet J. William Oldenburg. Bill started to pack up his things and on his way out he wished us a blessed day and before he got too far, BP asked him for his name. “Bill, Bill Oldenburg.” Little did we know that we was speaking to a billionaire. Well someone who used to be a billionaire. con't....

Oldenburg's LA Express J. William Oldenburg, among many other things, was the owner of the Los Angeles Express football team in the USFL in 1984. Upon purchasing the team--unprecedented in the history of professional football--he fielded an NFL-caliber offense really in a matter of months! The USFL owners were pretty much given free reign to spend and make moves at will. Overnight, top draft prospects and future Hall of Famers Steve Young and Gary Zimmerman were signed away from the NFL. Numerous other top offensive draft prospects were signed, as well as NFL players. They had territorial rights to southern California and the southwest as far as college and pro talent. They brought in proven veteran John Hadl as head coach, and legendary offensive guru Sid Gilman to work with the offense. Overnight they had a huge talented offensive line and fleet ex-college all-stars at every position! However, sports isn't like other business or financial transactions. It's organic, and even the best talent usually takes a year or two to gel, especially as a cohesive unit. When they didn't immediately start dominating, Oldenburg asked Gilman what was wrong? Sid Gilman tried to explain to him that this was a very young team that needed seasoning. J. William Oldenburg had signed Steve Young to a 25 year/50 million dollar contract! Unfortunately, the only real accomplishment of the team was winning a conference championship game against the defending league champion Michigan Panthers. In one of the most exciting games in pro football history, they won 27-21 in triple overtime; now of course forgotten like the USFL which folded the next year due mostly to excessive Oldenburg-like spending. J. William Oldenburg was the owner barely a year before his own problems caught up with him and the team fell apart as quickly as it was built:
Offseason disaster Then, just as quickly as the Express rose, they fell. Midway through the season, the FBI began investigating Oldenburg's financial dealings. Multiple exposés by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times revealed Oldenburg not only had a habit of luring savings and loans into questionable deals, but was also nowhere near as well off as he had long claimed. It later emerged that league officials had dispensed with their usual exhaustive due diligence of potential owners before approving Oldenburg's bid to buy the Express. They were so determined to ensure an apparently solid owner in the nation's second-largest market that they did not conduct any meaningful vetting of Oldenburg's finances. While Oldenburg had gained a reputation as the enfant terrible of the league, no one even suspected that he was a fraud until the FBI and newspaper investigations revealed that he had virtually no money. When he applied to buy the Express, he claimed to have net worth of $100 million, which on paper would have given him more than enough net worth to buy the team. Subsequent investigations suggested that much of that figure came from buying a piece of property for a discount, then selling it to a small bank that he owned for ten times its actual worth. Late in the season, just days after the Times article, Oldenburg told league officials that he could no longer afford to pay the Express' bills. The league required all owners to post a $1.3 million letter of credit for just such an emergency; it tapped into the Express' letter of credit to cover expenses. The owners also agreed to chip in $500,000 to keep the team going through the playoffs. Even this wasn't enough to prevent their equipment from being confiscated after the Western Conference title game because Oldenburg had failed to pay an equipment company $13,000. By the time that Oldenburg had walked away from the team, office employees and landscaping contractors were going unpaid.

What's the deal with humans and rabbits? Many people have a strong fondness for rabbits. Like it or not, rabbits are rodents, a common prey animal, and whose fur and meat are commonly used by people the world over. In fact, they're even harvested in part for "rabbit's feet" good luck charms. In other words, for an animal which we apparently love so much, we sure treat them harshly! On the trails nearby me, I see them forging at all hours of the day and night. A couple of evenings ago I was walking along a trail at 2 AM, and I encountered some of them in front of me. Sometimes they run, and sometimes surprisingly they just sit stationary... listening. I shined my flashlight on one of them. Momentarily I tried to comprehend the appeal of the rabbit. It was a small brush rabbit, brown-grey in color, with of course the long ears, white cotton tail, the whiskers and that munching action going on, the big eyes, etc. One thing is for certain, they are not rats. Rats are a threat to us, and can literally ween themselves in human waste filled sewers, and invade our homes. A true threat. Rabbits may also be rodents, but they are not dirty in that manner, are no threat to us unless they have access to our gardens, and are aesthetically appealing. It probably wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that they're "innocent vegetarian gatherers." When I was a small boy, I used to have a rabbit's foot key chain. It was dried out, dyed red, and well made. Many years later, I think someone lifted it from my belongings. Last year in a lock store I saw the same brand of them. The exact same, obviously manufactured by the same company from many years earlier. They were different colors, but I had to have the red one again. I wonder how many rabbits have been, lets face it, sacrificed for the sake of "the rabbit's foot industry?" I'm sure they probably purchased the feet from companies which also process the meat and fur as well. We view the rabbit as possibly the most docile animal. The very symbol of serenity. Being a prey animal, rabbits are never 100% comfortable with humans... although they seem to lend trust after a long time. I remember my late sister had a rabbit. It was relatively small, light tan in color, a female. One day a feral cat jumped right inside of it's pen and attacked it before being run off. Although she physically healed from the attack, she could never be held and petted again. She would even bite if anyone tried to pick her up. She was psychologically scarred for life. In comparison, cats are not prey animals. They are predators, with good eyesight, very aware of their surroundings, and difficult for larger animals to prey on. Unlike the always-the-prey rabbit. I remember in the film 'Fatal Attraction' where the child's pet white rabbit was discovered bloody and boiling in a kitchen pot. Geez, that was worse than a person getting off'd in a film! Of course, the prop used was not a real rabbit, but there was a certain horror to it. You just can't kill white rabbits. I remember one time on a message board I was on, someone put up a photo of a fluffy white rabbit with dark red eyes. Albino I guess. Some white rabbits are albino, most are not. One young woman posted something like "If someone showed me a baby (human) and this rabbit, I would hug the bunny first." Wow. That's saying a lot for, lets face it, a common prey animal. Why do we love them so much? Probably because of the traits mentioned earlier. Within nature, within the cycle of life, from our own entitled perspective.... bad things can occur swiftly and abruptly. I remember going to camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains as a child. Five or ten minutes after all of us got off the bus, one girl was attacked by bees. Even in a wooded landscape devoid of bear and wolves, there are plenty of dangers. Another example, a bite by a rattlesnake could be extremely dangerous; as well as poison oak, sun exposure, risk of injury, getting lost, lack of food and water, spider bites, etc. When I was along that dark trail the other early morning hour, the rabbits represented the docile aspect of nature.... like symbolically running into a few little old friends. We love them because of their dainty aesthetics, their docile nature and energy, and that they are no threat to us. As pets, we can artificially protect them and preserve that passive aspect of nature in our lives.

Full Video - The Nature of Witchcraft HD - Derek Prince 115,404 views - March 3, 2020 Derek Prince Ministries In this video Derek Prince teaches about the nature of witchcraft by explaining the root, trademarks and the power of this satanic power. These are all important things to know when we fight the spiritual warfare.
Of course, these are--in my opinion--pitiful examples of theological anti-Pagan points of view. They're still interesting to listen to, to observe the smugness, and unravel the how and why? How could, for example, a 40,000 year old tradition be a part of a 2,000 year old tradition from another part of the world? Unlike Derek Prince or John MacArthur, John Ramirez and Bill Schnoebelen are opportunists who exaggerate their involvement in "Satanism" for financial gain. It's one of the oldest tricks in the book; creating a boogeyman in order to galvanize the target population into "fighting the good fight" (translation: $$$). I remember in the western series 'Deadwood', the Native Americans were frequently referred to as "dirt worshippers." Well, define "dirt?" It's not the dirty streets of a downtown metropolis, it's the soil, the rocks, the water, the plants, the trees, the animals..... the earth. The duality of gentle and harsh. Evangelical Christians deny even being part of this world. Now that is one big difference in worldview. The various prevailing ideologies that we must live under, just like
with everything else, believe in smothering and dominating nature. Every now and then a lion, bear, hippo, shark, piranah, poison ivy, cactus, hurricane, jagged cliff, blazing sun, earthquake, flood, or lightening give them just a glimpse of how comparatively small and weak they really are. Just last evening, about 9:30, I was sitting out on our deck in the back having my last 20 ounces of water for the day. As I've said before, it's located outside the tall backyard fence and close to the edge of a state park. Finally we're getting some weather in the 60s at night, so it's comfortable to just sit out there for a long time in just a t-shirt. I heard some animals walking around in some brush out in the darkness. Just the fact that there are many coyotes about at night is enough to take notice. However, these were the sounds of smaller animals. There's a certain simple mystery there. The mystery of the darkness. *************************

'Let it snow! Winter storm drops snow on Haleakala, Big Island summits' Ben Gutierrez - HawaiiNewsNow.com - February 6, 2020 HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A deep cold front dropped snow on the summits of Haleakala on Maui, and Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea on the Big Island, resulting in snowcaps on Hawaii’s three tallest mountains. The National Weather Service in Honolulu had those summits under a winter storm warning through noon Friday. A dusting of snow fell on summit of Haleakala, which tops out at about 10,023 feet. The road to the summit was closed for much of the day Friday because of icy conditions. Meanwhile, snow accumulations of up to 6 inches is in the forecast for the Big Island summits. con't (more images)....

Like a lot of people, I've always been fascinated by snow topped mountains in parts of the world where you would least expect snow or ice. For example, Mt. Kilimanjaro in central Africa or the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. If you check the images in the above link, there are five images from the actual peaks of those Hawaiian mountains, which reflect the wide flat ground surface and are very different that the deceptive view from afar. If you were just beamed to the top of Mauna Kea, you wouldn't have the faintest idea of where you were, least of all Hawaii! During the winter I can see from my home the snow topped peaks of Mt. Diablo.

'Murders in the Night' TexasMonthly.com - 2016 [Illustration by David Palumbo] An exclusive excerpt from 'The Midnight Assassin: Panic, Scandal, and the Hunt for America’s First Serial Killer' reveals a forgotten time in Austin history, when a series of brutal, unsolved slayings terrified officials and left them wondering if a madman was on the loose. Beginning on December 31, 1884, Austin was the setting for a killing spree unlike any ever before seen in American history. Over the course of a year, seven female residents, along with the boyfriend of one of the victims, were attacked with knives, axes, bricks, or iron rods. Police officers were baffled. They took bloodhounds to the scenes of each murder, but the dogs could find no trails. Private detectives were hired to conduct their own investigations, but they too failed to find any leads. Because the first victims were black, Austin’s white residents initially believed that what was taking place was a “Negro problem.” Some city leaders theorized that a “gang” of depraved black men was committing the crimes, going after black women for reasons of its own. But then came Christmas Eve 1885. con't....

'Top 10 Dreadful Accounts Of Women Condemned To The Gallows' Adam R. Ramos - ListVerse.com - February 13, 2017 Capital punishment has long been a contentious topic in US history—and never more so than when the condemned is a woman. The following is a list of women whose crimes in a cruel and unforgiving era afforded them no leniency, leading them to the gallows. 10. Paula Angel Martin Miguel was a 22-year-old man who had a wife and five children. He came from a prominent New Mexico family and though his life appeared to be the epitome of bliss, he secretly carried on a turbulent affair with Paula Angel. When he decided to end their romance in 1861, Paula viciously stabbed Miguel to death with a butcher knife. She was immediately arrested, and five days later, Gov. Abraham Rencher issued a warrant for her death. She spent the remainder of her days being taunted by a jailer who repeatedly chanted, “I’m going to hang you until you’re dead, dead, dead.” On the day of her execution, she—along with the coffin in which she would soon be buried—was loaded onto a wagon and brought to a cottonwood tree. After the noose was fastened around her neck, the horses pulled the wagon away, leaving Paula to hang. However, the sheriff had forgotten to tie Paula’s hands together, causing her to desperately grasp at the noose. The horrified crowd that had gathered pleaded for mercy, yet their sympathetic cries fell on deaf ears. Her execution was momentarily halted for the sheriff to re-tie her hands. The second attempt was a success, and to date, Paula was the only woman ever hanged in New Mexico.
************
Actually, the facts of the botched hanging were more dramatic and disturbing: Execution Angel was hanged in Las Vegas on the morning of April 26. No gallows were available, so she was instead tied to a cottonwood tree and placed on a wagon attached to a team of horses. Antonio Abad Herrera, the county sheriff and executioner, didn't want to tie her arms, so when the wagon began moving she was able to grab hold of the noose. Herrera attempted to pull her downward, but the crowd prevented him from doing so and cut her free. There was potential for a riot, as some in the crowd believed that she was entitled to be released, but order was maintained and the second attempt was successful.
************ Back in that time period if something occurred which prevented an execution from taking its course, then according to unwritten law it was considered "an act of God," and the person was usually set free. The sheriff was breaking both protocol and the law by not tying her hands and by viciously trying to pull her down to kill her. It would have been interesting if someone had just covertly shot him in the foot maybe, so he probably wouldn't have finished the hanging and she may have just been allowed to go free. So many times individuals of great wealth can really mess with ordinary people whom they become involved with. I've observed it myself many times, so I have a little bit of a hard time sympathizing with Martin Miguel. Also, it sounds like his prominent family may have been the reason that the court system was so enthusiastic about executing Paula Angel.
************
Legacy The case of Paula Angel received little contemporary attention due to the ongoing American Civil War. Angel was virtually forgotten until 1961, when an article was published in The Santa Fe New Mexican to commemorate the 100th anniversary. Some sources have described Angel as the only woman to have been legally executed in New Mexico. This is in fact only true of New Mexico as a part of the United States – two Puebloan women had been hanged in Santa Fe in 1779, under Spanish colonial rule. Until relatively recently, there was no direct evidence that an execution had even been carried out, only folk and oral traditions. Historian Robert Tórrez found the original warrant for Angel's execution in the Huntington Library of California, but it initially appeared to contain nothing to suggest the sentence had been carried out. However, it was subsequently determined that the microfilm of the warrant only included one side. When the original document was examined, Sheriff Herrera's handwritten confirmation of execution was found on the reverse. ************
Legend of the blood red leaves A comprehensive account of all information in this case can be found on the Paula Angel webpage at Murderpedia. According to folklore, the cottonwood tree used to hang Paula Angel shed blood red leaves after her hanging. Usually the fallen leaves are a golden color. *************************

'Wolf howls are like unique fingerprints that can be identified by computers' Michael Graham Richard - TreeHugger.com - July 25, 2013 New computer software can recognize individuals with 100% accuracy Wolves are always controversial, but as top predators in many ecosystems, they play an important role that shouldn't be underestimated (like sharks in the sea, another controversial species that needs our help). There's an inuit saying that goes something like: "The wolf keeps the caribou strong." Conservationists who study wolves to better understand and protect them need to follow wolves around, but that's not easy. The most reliable way is to capture a wolf and fit it with a GPS collar, but that's not easy to do and costs a lot of money. Or they can look for wolf tracks in the snow (when there's snow), but that's also definitely not ideal. But now, thanks to sophisticated software, recordings of wolf howls - calls and responses - can be analyzed and individual wolves can be identified with a very high degree of accuracy. con't....
