'Oh Christmas Tree'
Through winter snow
and summer rain.
Everlasting green your
boughs remain.
Oh Christmas tree,
Oh Christmas tree,
How beautiful
your branches
[Christmas pillow stitching; author unknown; another version ends with "How lovely are your branches"; I added the title]

When ritual doesn't evoke the intended feeling
I don't mean intended result, as results come in their time. I'm referring to particularly powerful feelings that we may experience on just the right time, place, weather, etc, and when we try at a later point to recreate the same effect... it simply does not happen. This is partly why on those very special occasions, I don't want to leave because of the notion of... I may not get this back. My only answer is to not push it, and move onto other special rituals. Just make note of it, and when it feels right.. try again. I remember having a poor experience during a New Moon ritual one time, then at a later time I tried a different important rite one day after a New Moon with slight apprehension... and it went great! Just take note, move on, but never forget... and try again..

You've probably seen her in the Hilton, Doritos, and Frito Lay ads; looking about 22, although she's 35. She's an actress and singer, and that was her real voice in the Frito Lay commercial below. She looks more beautiful in a moving image than in photos. I wasn't aware that she played the role of Jessica Stanley in the Twilight Saga series.
